recovery is a choice tbh choosing to leave behind coping methods you KNOW are unhealthy & try to work towards a healthier cycle of thinking & healthy coping methods is something that you choose to do
lets stop romanticizing self destruction as a coping method & isolating yourself & self deprecating memes
like sure those are all ways to cope but in the long run theyre doing more damage to you than any good
communicate with ur friends, challenge your maldaptive thoughts, try to clean ur room, watch a show you like, take a shower if you can, go for a walk if you feel good enough, remember to eat & drink enough & take your meds
it really is the little things like that that can help in the long run
I had a weird ass dream that had me searching urgently for a friend and I ran lookin for him and ended up in this lime green ass hotel that apparently hosted game characters
and all the rooms didn’t have doors just the doorways and I was running through inadvertently lookin at characters doing their daily stuff and at one point I pass by one doorway that was apparently Giovanni’s suite and I just remember starin at him cause he’s lounging in this gold pokeball-dotted robe just scrollin on his phone
and I very vividly remember him having an ankle tattoo of a pokeball that’s kinda faded like he got it when he was a dumb teenager or somethin like here I drew it
a white girl is lost in the woods and is about to be attacked by a bear. “why cant we all just be friends, bullying is so stupid, stop bullying <3” she says to it. the bear stops. he is confused. how the hell did she just say ❤ out loud
