installing the cpu fan is the worst! if it’s not on just right then it’s not attached at all and if you push it in just the wrong way it comes off.

yeah, and the one i picked out apparently has a reputation for being particularly difficult. i don’t know if it’s just this particular model, but it felt like something i should have had a second person helping me with.

stop feeding your compulsion to actively seek out content that you know is upsetting.

stop visiting tags that upset you (you should probably blacklist them)

stop visiting blogs that you’ve blocked, and/or that you know is going to post about stuff that upsets you.

stop hate reading

I know from experience that it can be addicting because getting angry about stuff is just a good of a distraction as any. but it’s such a pointless, self destructive, and avoidable source of negativity in your life.

almost finished building my first gaming computer. i’m never doing this again. i’m bleeding, it took an hour and a half to install the cpu fan, and i’m probably going to be in pain for an entire week. this is a surprisingly taxing activity for someone with a bad back.

you find a mad libs book on the ground and find that it’s filled completely with proper, sensible words for the situation at hand. a small child in a perfectly tailored gray suit tugs on your shirt with ice-cold hands and politely asks for it back

wasnt this just the plot of the Artemis Fowl books

actually those books are about a very rich little boy going on a fun adventure, this is just a silly little scenario I thought up, thanks!

is this boss baby

well, you know, if you’ll look one post up you’ll see that I’ve explained that it was a sort of a little vignette I found humorous and I shared it with y’all because I though y’all would get a kick out of it but now everyone’s saying that maybe I was talking about a lot of popular media and you know that’s just a little bit hurtful because I had a funny little thought all on my own and i wrote it down and now you boys all think that it was inspired by the aforementioned popular media. now in case you don’t believe me, here’s the story of how I thought of it: i was sitting in the coffee shop Starbucks, maybe you’ve heard of it, I was at their chain location at 7211 Corporate Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I was sitting in one of the soft cloth-upholstered chairs trying to finish a little bit of mathematics work and I saw that someone had left a Mad Libs book on the end table where I had put down my coffee. then I thought to myself “wow, wouldn’t it be funny if I picked that up and it had all the right and sensible words filled in?” and then I thought about who would do something like that, and I thought of a very serious little child of 5 to 6 years of age, and I must confess that I became distracted from my mathematics (it is very easy to become distracted from something one does not wish to do and some of you may agree with me when I say that mathematics is by no means enjoyable) and I opened the tumblr app on my smartphone and typed out the post that you’ll see if you scroll up just a little bit. anyway, i hope this cleared things up a bit. thanks

you know that shit that happens where you eat a bag of assorted candy but theres one flavor in there you dont like and eventually, like, you get down to the point where its like a huge bag of just that flavor and you try your best to eat it anyway bc it feels weird to throw out?? sundays feel like a solid 24 hours of that feeling. idk why. this isnt like, an analogy. dont try and break down like how theres an equivalency bc theres not, im not drawing one, im saying there are a finite amount of vibes in the world, and sometimes the universe has to repurpose them, and “being alive on a sunday” and “possessing a whole bag of just the worst kind of candy” is a case of that

tumblr is a good website except the part where people are cruel to complete strangers with barely any provocation, making me angry on behalf of the people this happens to and afraid that someone will do the same to me
