I find it a little disturbing when someone says ‘I don’t trust anyone who reblogs these things because they must’ve done something’ It’s almost like saying you don’t trust anyone who treats someone with basic human respect because they must have done something wrong… boy, do I sure miss pre-2012 tumblr…
i interpret it more as “nobody would feel the need to say such things unless they were on the defensive”. which i find troublesome because it seems to assume a lack of selflessness and compassion as a majority or default state. or maybe i’m reading too much into it.
