I think you should request that people tag su discourse maybe? that could help out a lot since after every episode someone makes a 5 page essay about it or otherwise (as an extreme maybe) just unfollow problem people I guess?

i already have the tag blocked and have unfollowed a few people who were being extra about it, but it’s just more the backlash against the fandom at this point. like i feel icky for even liking the show in light of some of the more horrible incidents lately, like with lauren zuke’s twitter. i dunno if i’m making sense.

the show is great but tbh once you ignore all the discourse and otherwise typical fandom dramas you feel a lot better about liking it, I think distancing yourself from the problematic or annoying aspects is a good start to enjoying it more

honestly, the discourse is preventing me from enjoying the show. i don’t want to be mistaken for one of those fucknuts, so i feel guilty about liking the series at all.
