I still have no idea what I’ll end up using for Sun because there’s so many good choices this gen, but my Moon team was Primarina, Raichu, Muk, midday Lycanroc, Meganium, and 10% Zygarde.
I also briefly tried using Baile Oricorio, but it only gets one decent attacking move before level 36, and I don’t have that kind of patience.
Between the weird kids aware of their own mortality and the dex entries about screaming souls of the dead, the macabre in this game is overwhelming I need to lie down
I’m loving every second of this game’s lore. I haven’t even gotten 50% through the plot and they’ve touched on things I’ve never seen touched on in pokemon games before, things like pokemon eating other pokemon, death and mortality, and it’s really making me fall in love with the world; it feels real, and alive.

oh btw for ppl playing sun and moon. I’m sure someone has mentioned it already but when there is a letter “w” in a Hawaiian word the correct way to pronounce it is with a “V” sound. I’ve heard ppl say the words with a straight up “w"sound and thats really no fault of theirs since they dont know how to pronounce Hawaiian words. I’m not forcing ppl to say it correctly but this is for reference
for example! When you meet trial captain Kiawe the correct way to pronounce his name is (Kee-ah-veh). With a “v” sound not a “w” sound.
oh someone pointed this out but yes! there are exceptions. if the first letter of a hawaiian word is a “w” then you just use a normal “w” sound
