You already know that you need to wrap it up before you back it up. But don’t forget the lube! Using lube with condoms is important, especially during anal sex. The anus doesn’t self-lubricate (like the vagina) so anal sex means friction. And friction is the archenemy of condoms; it can cause a condom to tear.
One tip when you are shopping for lube: look for “water-based” or “silicone-based” on the packaging and avoid anything oil-based. Oil-based lubes can weaken condoms and cause them to break during sex.
This is a great psa and all, but I was only half-focused when scrolling and the colors of the post + a split-second glance at the word “condom” made me think this was about condiments. So here’s my psa: PLEASE don’t use ketchup and/or mustard as lube. Mayo is probably also a bad idea.
