So, hi. I’m the girl you all knew as Tara. My FF.net account really was hacked (twice!), once in 2006 and again in 2009. As of 2017, Support still doesn’t answer my requests to regain it, although I can’t say I blame them. They’re probably scared I’ll flood their site with poorly written sex scenes again.
I’m lucky the hackers never migrated to this account, considering it had the exact same login credentials. (They’ve since been changed, don’t worry.)
I’ll let the account’s creation date speak as to whether it’s legitimate or not.

Because I’ve received several messages asking this, and predict I may receive more, I’ll answer it here. No, I am not Lani Sarem. Really bad fiction simply tends to read the same. Let’s Players are the American equivalent of Japanese Idols.
From the fact that everyone wants to be one, right down to the fans who will absolutely piss their pants if their favorite one get’s a significant other.
Strong agree. Japanese Idols and LetsPlayers have a much stronger focus on a cult-of-personality style following. Being a good, likeable person is paramount to success. As opposed to Western celebrities, who can be scandalous & not necessarily likeable and still have quite lucrative careers. Also the typical j-idol stars’ publicity heavily includes interacting with other idols/personalities, playing games, reacting to experiences, vlogging, etc, same as LetsPlayers. Idols and LetsPlayers both try to, through media, create an intimate, personable experience- this person is supposed to feel like your FRIEND, at the end of the day. It’s really quite interesting!
Apparently the sole admin for the Silent Hill wiki is a radical anti-circumcision guy who uses the wiki as a platform to rant about how people who were circumcised at birth should receive reparations, and he justifies it by saying that the games contain anti-circumcision imagery (they don’t), and he’s yelling at and banning people who try to delete his ramblings from the articles. I find this very very funny.
