i love ace a lot because he’s so much this wise caring older dude figure, and he’s so good at keeping his cool and getting everyone on track, and he just is so genuinely fond of everyone and he trusts them, like totally and completely, and he’s so instantly willing to put his life on the line for them because it has to be done
except then when it’s just him and junpei he keeps cracking these jokes that he thinks are the funniest shit and delivering all these one-liners he thinks are so cool and dramatic and getting really disappointed when he gets told how fucking dorky they are
