Hey as an adult speaking to both other adults and literal children on here I wanna say you should go ahead and leave your bed unmade, objects on the floor and clothes unfolded if that’s just how you’re comfortable.
Your personal space is yours and if you don’t feel like doing something and you don’t feel like it changes your quality of life, then you don’t have to do it just because it’s supposed to be “nicer” that way. That’s someone else’s opinion! Who cares!
Save that energy for your own personal health and hygiene. All children are correct; the bed covers are just going to get messed up again anyway.
americans, months ago: hey we just discovered that local news stations are actually being turned into state sponsored propaganda tools with terrorist alert desks and biased information about the fascist president which would influence public perception of him for those who trust their local stations. and we’d love to see more international news but apparently we’re not even getting accurate reports from our own backyards so for a lot of us common everyday folk we have to go out of our way to get news that’s not us-centric AND accurate
y’all, for some inexplicable reason: why don’t y’all know everything that’s happening everywhere else always? you must not care, that’s the only reason
This is a very good point. Despite writing the news for several years before I first traveled overseas 20 years ago, I was woefully unaware of the basic concept of “where you are in the world determines how you cover and read the news,” mainly because I only wrote about local and state stuff, occasionally national events. So if someone IN the news business has to go overseas to figure this out, imagine how unaware the average person with a different kind of job and family, other obligations, etc. is of their options.
(To be fair, 20 years ago the internet had a LOT less on it in the way of international news than it does now and people were much less savvy in how to track down those sources.)
This filter-feeding fish from the Jurassic Period was a giant that likely grew larger than today’s whale sharks. Unlike the sharks, Leedsichthys was a bony fish, a group whose largest living member is the ocean sunfish Mola mola.

You’ll notice some fairly dramatic changes from the initial 2017 survey, including a more traditional agree/disagree scale, randomized question order within each section, a greater number of shorter sections, and a more thorough explanation of how data is being used after collection.
Another significant change: all demographics questions are now optional. The only mandatory questions are those regarding how you want your data handled.
Demographics are also considerably more detailed than last year. In particular, the highly requested autistic and disabled trends will now be easier to identify.
Again, all demographics questions are optional.
We highly encourage you to crosspost this survey to any platforms you like.
This includes forums, reddit, chat groups, twitter, social media, youtube, so on and so forth. You are welcome to spread this link far and wide. We will be doing our best to crosspost everywhere we can, but we’re only 6 people. There’s only so far we can reach.
As with last year, data will be compiled and released at 100, 250, 500, and 1000 respondents, then every additional 1000 respondents.
This survey will be closed at either 15,000 respondents or 31 December 2018, whichever comes first. Until the survey is closed, you are welcome to edit or delete your responses at any time.
As of this posting, the 2017 survey has been closed.
