i think it’s wild how hard toby fox has stuck with megalovania over the years. like, i dunno if this applies to musicians specifically, but most artists tend to hate their early work
toby wrote megalovania when he was like what, 13 or 14? and he fuckin’ stuck with it. he’s kept re-making it and including it in his projects with very little alteration between iterations.
do you think he banged out megalovania when he was still a babby and just thought “oh fuck. shit. how did i do that one? this fucking rules. i have no idea how i did this but it rules”
please be gentle with yourself. you’re trying. if it’s taking you longer than you thought to achieve something or get somewhere that’s okay. try not to compare yourself to others too much because not everyone gets to where they need to be right away. you’re alive that’s what matters. keep trying. you’ll get there.
