getting context for the “i abandoned my boy” scene kind of threw me for a loop because whenever i saw gifsets of it, i wondered who griffin’s boy was. with the mcelroys you just don’t know. but then i watched the episode and it turned out that for once, he was literally referring to a completely normal teenaged human boy.
