Obscure Torments #137: having a video game fanchise that’s your favourite in principle, but in practice each individual entry get just enough things wrong to bring it down to kinda mediocre, and your “real” favourite game can never actually be played because it’s a composite title that exists only in your head.
I’m pretty sure this is the definition of being a Pokemon fan.
