my favorite thing about the velvet room is that your teammates can’t see it so every time the protag goes in I think they just say “yea hold on let me just astral project into this room for a sec”

my favorite part is that sources vary on if the protags tell their friends about the velvet room or not, so it’s equally possible that they know whats up or they see their leader astral projecting for 10 minutes at a time and just accept it quietly and do not ask questions
