my understanding of what happened is that one of the mods behind clown-names was called out for being a pedo apologist by another individual because they enjoyed watching the dragon maid anime (however its unclear whether they stood by the creators choices) and defended someone who turned out to be a pedo stating the main reason for doing so was the lack of evidence at the time and later said had they known they wouldn’t have defended them.
