Can everyone just admit that when someone is arguing, they are ALWAYS going to make mistakes, even pretty big mistakes that make them appear irrational or ignorant? I’m not talking about offensive nasty shit, I’m talking about mixing up your facts, getting a number backwards, making too literal or too broad a statement. The way people argue and debate these days, it just becomes a race to see who can spot the other person’s normal, human error first and start gloating about it.

Just because someone Doesn’t Talk Super Goodest in the heat of the moment doesn’t automatically always mean their point is wrong or that they didn’t really do their research. The emphasis on PERFECT communication and eloquence is a superficial way to cheaply disqualify a lot of people without having to consider the real point behind their words.
