It’s idealistic to think any fandom’s going to be free from drama. As long as people have free will and think whatever they want, drama will always be a problem. On the Twitter side, this is really evident. The fandom split in two when we got the trailer for Xenoblade 2.

Conversely, the Xenoblade X fandom is actually very chill and it is somewhat more relaxed, especially when compared to other fandoms I’ve been in. But it would be foolish to lie like that and say Xenoblade X has no drama, because if you think we are drama free you are deluding yourself. Like I said, individual thought will always cause drama. As long as someone thinks differently there will be some form of conflict.

I posted this close to half a year ago and have no goddamn idea why it’s suddenly getting notes, especially now. The fandom was, from my experience, pretty chill when I made the post.

If anyone needs a wake-up call, it’s the people who suddenly started reblogging the post this week out of nowhere. Maybe some people were doing it ironically, but I’ve seen a few who were 100% serious.
